Posted on 3 Mar 2017

Following their technical partnership earlier this year, CricHQ has now completed a deal to acquire My Action Replay in an exciting development that ensures the global cricketing platform is at the forefront of the digital revolution in cricket.  Players and fans of the sport will get to see their cricket, from grassroots to top flight, in a whole new way.  Action Replays and livestream, all with overlaid scores and player names, will be automatically captured whilst the game is scored via the app.  The replays are instantly available to share online and on social media, to review on tablet or mobile for analysis, watch on screens in grounds and clubhouses and are all archived as part of the player history and profile.  It’s changing the way people can enjoy their cricket – Making Cricket Even Better

From Sports Pitches to the Pitch@Palace

Posted on 17 Sep 2015

First job of the week?  Pitch to HRH Duke of York and a selected business audience at Engine Shed, Bristol.  Monday 14th saw Emily have just three minutes to explain what My Action Replay is and what it can achieve for sports and leisure venues.  Following the pitch she was pleased to have some time with HRH to discuss how it works in more detail and how he could capture his goals or analyse and perfect his golf swing.  As part of the Pitch@Palace on Tour it was a great opportunity to showcase innovative technology

My Action Replay – 20 years in the making

Posted on 4 May 2015

So that’s me below at 15 years old, with my local cricket team.

I loved playing all sports and wasn’t too bad at cricket – although given the endless summer days I spent at Lodway Cricket Club practising with my friends I should have been far better.

Like everyone who played sport I desperately wanted to improve. I trained enthusiastically and listened to the coaches but I really wanted to see what I looked like when I was playing – how did my bowling style look compared to Ian Botham’s when I saw him tear in to bowl on the TV? What did my batting look like compared to Pete Trego’s playing for the best local team who had just smoked us for a personal tally of 140 runs in about 12 overs?

It didn’t stop at cricket and it wasn’t just me but also my sports-mad team-mates, my sisters and brother who wanted to know how they looked compared to the best. Did we float over the track like Flo-Jo and Michael Johnson or were we rooted to the ground? Did we have an outside break like Jerry Guscott, did we glide over the court like Steffi Graf and Pete Sampras? Was our drive anything like Tiger Woods’?
